Airbnb email to Darragh O’Brien

The last time I posted about Airbnb, it wasn’t very enlightening. This time we have a tiny glimpse into Airbnb’s communications with the housing department.

Below is an email sent to housing minister Darragh O’Brien in late May by Jean Hoey, Airbnb’s public policy lead. In it Airbnb touts its credentials for helping to reboot the tourism sector in Ireland as restrictions are lifted while also trying to get in front of any new short-term letting regulations:
